Paul Hugh Gelluff

The Gelluff’s were a wealthy family who made their money trading potion materials, a field in which they specialized in. Paul grew up with loving and understanding parents who supported him in everything he chose to do. Nevertheless, his father expected great things from him as he was the heir to the family business and the first of four brothers. Paul however was never really eager to manage his father's fortune. His interests laid elsewhere, as he knew from the first moment he touched his wand that he wanted to study magic. His parents hired the best magic tutors to develop his skills and at the same time, his father trained him to take advantage of his immense stature as well. When he was fourteen, a trip to a country near the District of Sparkles led him to meet Leanne Vicrow. A girl who instantly caught his eye with her elegant and lovely appearance.

Their parents met and saw a relationship of convenience as both families could benefit from marriage. They decided to agree to an engagement interview. Paul was left alone with Leanne, who removed her cute facade, raised her wand and threatened to burn him to ashes if he came near her. Paul could only laugh at the drastic turn of events, causing Leanne to be puzzled and angry.

They both talked and Paul quickly realized that there was no way that they could both feel romantic love for each other. Leanne announced that there would be no engagement, much to their parent’s dissatisfaction. Driven by Leanne's adventurous spirit, Paul decided to set out on a journey to the Outlands of Switzerland himself. A place well known for its wild tribes and clans. He spent three months traveling and learning magic from the various wandering wizards he encountered along the way. Finally arriving at his destination, Paul quickly discovered the harsh reality of life when he was ambushed and left severely injured. Thankfully he was saved by a warrior tribe who took him in and nursed him back to health. Grateful and impressed with their humble way of life, Paul asked to stay with the tribe to study their magical abilities.

After years of traveling and visiting countless tribes and clans, he even fell in love with a woman with whom he secretly married. Unfortunately, their marriage did not last so he decided to settle down in a village near the port. A few months later, and very much to his surprise, Leanne Vicrow knocked on his door accompanied by a red-haired girl with an ambitious plan to found a new magical school.
